Acne Vulgaris
A common skin condition caused by clogged hair follicles, resulting in whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples.
Acne vulgaris develops when hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It most commonly affects the face, chest, and back, and ranges from mild comedonal acne to severe nodular or cystic forms. Treatment depends on severity and may include topical retinoids, antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, and in severe cases oral isotretinoin.
