Nausea and Vomiting

An unpleasant sensation in the stomach that often precedes vomiting and can result from many causes.

Nausea is a symptom that can result from motion sickness, medication side effects, gastroenteritis, pregnancy, or more serious conditions. Treatment targets the underlying cause. Common antiemetics include ondansetron and promethazine for prescription use, and bismuth subsalicylate for mild cases.
